Triphenylarsine oxide–hydrogen peroxide adduct

Abstract

Triphenylarsine reacts with hydrogen peroxide to give a crystalline substance whose composition is Ph3AsO,H2O2. The structure of the material and of the corresponding phosphine oxide complex is discussed.
