Proton resonance spectra of some unsaturated carboxylic acids

Abstract

The proton resonance spectra of some α-β unsaturated carboxylic acids in aqueous solutions in the pH range 0–9 have been measured and are discussed with reference to the ionization sequences. The shifts produced by adding Co2+ ions are interpreted in terms of complex formation.
