Dielectric constant of copper chloride and copper ammonium chloride

Abstract

The dielectric constant of copper chloride and copper ammonium chloride has been determined using a modified coaxial cell and a parallel plate condenser at 1 Mc/sec. A method of obtaining bulk dielectric constant from measurements on powders of different volume fractions in different media is described. Investigation of powders of different grain sizes yield useful information about the accuracy of the measurements, at the lowest grain size used.
