7,12-Dihydropleiadene-7,12-dione: preparation and reaction with grignard reagents

Abstract

An improved method of preparing 7,12-dihydropleiadene-7,12-dione is described. It adds one equivalent of nuccelophiles, losing both carbonyl groups in the process.
