1-O-benzyl-L-glycerol and D-(glycerol 1,2-carbonate)
Abstract
1-O-Benzyl-L-glycerol was synthesised from D-mannitol, by way of 1,6-di-O-benzyl-2,5-O-methylene-D-mannitol, and was subsequently converted into D-(glycerol 1,2-carbonate).
