The alkaloids of perennial rye-grass (Lolium perenne L.). Part III. The synthesis of perlolidine

Abstract

Perlolidine has been synthesised by two independent routes; in one a third ring was closed on to a substituted quinoline, in the other on to a derivative of 4-phenyl-2-pyridone.
