Rhizophoraceae alkaloids. Part I. Four sulphur-containing bases from Cassipourea spp.

Abstract

Four new sulphur-containing alkaloids have been isolated from Cassipourea spp. C. gerrardii gave gerrardine, C11H19NO2S4, gerrardamine, C8H15NOS2, and gerrardoline, C8H15NO2S2; and C. gummiflua yielded cassipourine, C14H22N2S4.
