Correlation of X-ray crystal structure and infrared absorption for o-halogeno-aroyl compounds

Abstract

The infrared absorption spectra of a number of o-halogeno-aroyl compounds both in solid state and in solution are compared with the crystal structures as revealed by three-dimensional X-ray analyses.
