Dissociation of N-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)benzylammonium ions

Abstract

The dissociation constants of dinitrophenyl-benzylammonium ions are correlated by σ° values. The reaction is more sensitive to substituent effects (ρ= 1·70) than is dissociation of benzylammonium ions.
