Organosilicon compounds. Part II. The methyl proton resonance spectra of methylphenyldisiloxanes

Abstract

The methyl proton shifts of the methylphenyldisiloxanes Me3SiOSiMe3 to Ph3SiOSiMePh2 have been determined and differences in shifts interpreted as arising from magnetic anisotropy rather than inductive mechanisms.
