Abstract

Reactions of uranium penta-alkoxides with acetyl chloride give high yields of the compounds U(OR)5–nCln(R = Et and Pri, n= 1–3; R = t-C5H11, n= 1) and the adducts U(OR)Cl4,MeCO2R (R = Et and Pri).
