Thermodynamic considerations in co-ordination. Part I. A mathematical approach to stepwise enthalpic titrations, by use of a computer

Abstract

Computer programmes have been designed which allow a titrimetric procedure to be used in a microcalorimeter for the heats of protonation of organic bases and the heats of formation of their metal complexes. The calculation is also useful in other cases when it is necessary to calculate the degree of formation of the different protonated or complexed ligand species or the hydrogen-ion concentration of the solutions.
