The crystal structure of 2-chloro-1,3-dithia-2-stibacyclopentane

Abstract

The crystal structure of 2-chloro-1,3-dithia-2-stibacyclopentane, which has been elucidated by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, shows that the heterocyclic ring is markedly non-planar and that the configuration of the bonds about the Sb atom is nearly orthogonal. The crystals are monoclinic with dimensions a= 6·94, b= 10·05, c= 9·27 Å, β= 100° 52′; space group P21/a.
