Rates of slow reactions between ions in solution with dissociation

Abstract

The kinetic model used in a previous paper to calculate rates of fast reactions between ions in solution is extended to include slower reactions and to include the contribution due to dissociation of the products of the reaction. The resulting equilibrium state agrees with that given by Eigen and others to within the order of the approximations used.
