Optical rotatory dispersion. Part XXXVII. Tri- and tetra-peptides of alanine and serine
Abstract
The optical rotatory dispersion curves of all the possible diastereoisomeric tri- and tetra-peptides of alanine and serine have been measured in water, acid, and alkali. Arithmetical treatment of the results enables the contributions of the individual chromophores to the total molecular rotation to be calculated.
