SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE:
A new preparation of 2,3,6,7-tetrahydroimidazo[2,1-b]thiazolium bromide, and some of its chemistry, is described. The compound previously accepted as 2-imino-3-(2-bromoethyl)thiazolidine is shown to be 2-imino-3-(2-thiocyanatoethyl)thiazolidine hydrobromide; a similar state of affairs exists with the chlorine analogue.
