2,4-Dinitro-1-thiocyanatonaphthalene has been prepared. It reacts with aniline to give N-phenyl-2,4-dinitro-1-naphthylamine and with aqueous potassium carbonate to give bis-(2,4-dinitro-1-naphthyl) sulphide.
