Proton magnetic resonance spectra of some 1-amino-3,3-diphenylpropanes and related compounds

Abstract

The p.m.r. characteristics of some 1-amino-1-(and 2-)methyl-3,3-diphenylpropane derivatives are reported and discussed. Unusual spectral features of the ketone derivatives (methadone and isomethadone) and of corresponding ketimines are related to probable conformations of these compounds as solutes in deuteriochloroform.
