Hydrogen-abstraction reactions by methyl radicals from nitrogen-containing compounds

Abstract

From the photolysis of acetone in the presence of the nitrogen compounds the following Arrhenius parameters have been determined for hydrogen-abstraction reactions of methyl radicals: [graphic omitted] The results are compared with hydrogen-abstraction reactions involving other nitrogen compounds.
