The infrared spectra of the anions HClNO3, DClNO3, DBrCl, DClI, DCl2, DBr2, and DI2

Abstract

The new compounds Me4NHClNO3 and Me4NDClNO3 have been prepared and their infrared spectra analysed. The deuterated species of all known hydrogen dihalides have also been prepared and their infrared spectra compared with those of the hydrogen dihalides.
