Hierarchical structure TiNb2O7 microspheres derived from titanate for high-performance lithium-ion batteries

Abstract

Hierarchical structure TiNb2O7 microspheres (TNO-MS) composed of the primary unit of ca. 30 nm have successfully been synthesized using titanate as a precursor via a rapid and simple route for the first time, and displayed satisfactory long-term cycling stability and prominent rate capability as an anode for lithium-ion batteries.
