β-Galactosidase-instructed intracellular nanofiber formation enhances tumor micro-PET imaging†
Abstract
Enzyme-instructed self-assembly is a key approach to prepare well-controlled nanostructures for clinical development. Herein, we report a novel probe, [68Ga]Nap-1G which self-assembles into nanofibers under the hydrolysis of β-galactosidase. We demonstrate that its high accumulation enhances micro-PET imaging of tumors.
