We present the crystal structures of five new BEDT-TTF radical-cation salts with tris(oxalato)ferrate anions using solid or liquid additives toluene, phenol, benzaldehyde, 4-bromobenzaldehyde, and kojic acid.
We present three new additions to the family β′′-(BEDT-TTF)4[(A)Cr(C2O4)3]·guest with the guest molecules toluene, phenol, or salicylaldehyde. These new guests are liquid or solid additives within the electrocrystallisation medium.
There has been growing interest in recent years in the synthesis of multifunctional materials that exhibit both chirality and electrical conductivity.
In (BEDT-TTF)3[Cu2(μ-C2O4)(C2O4)2(CH3OH)(H2O)], BEDT-TTF stacks in β′′ mode and shows metallic conductivity. Hydrogen bonds between antiferromagnetic oxalate-bridged binuclear anions form a square lattice. No long range order observed to 2 K.
Organic conductor Cu(DMDCNQI)2 exhibits a very large thermoelectric power factor at low temperatures.
