Chemical vapor crosslinking of graphene oxide membranes for controlling nanochannels

Abstract

Solvent-free chemical vapor crosslinking is reported for controlling the interlayer spacing of graphene oxide (GO) membranes by nucleophilic substitution and condensation reactions between GO and ethylenediamine (EDA) vapor. The prepared membranes display high rejections and good stability under various feed pressures and long-term cross-flow filtration.
