Recent progress in selenium-catalyzed organic reactions

Abstract

Selenium-based catalysts, due to their high efficiency, mild reaction conditions, good functional compatibility and excellent selectivity, have attracted much attention during the past few years. In order to better understand selenium-based catalysts, the applications of organoselenium and inorganoselenium catalysts in organic synthesis in the recent decade are reviewed.
