About this collection
Welcome to Materials Chemistry Frontiers themed collection on “Supra-amphiphiles”.
Supra-amphiphiles, which refer to amphiphiles that are constructed by non-covalent interactions such as electrostatic interactions, π-π interactions, electron transfer interactions, hydrogen bonding, and host‒guest recognition, have been actively explored worldwide. The non-covalent interactions endow supra-amphiphiles with extraordinary capabilities that are successfully applied in numerous fields, including ‘smart’ nanocarriers, chemical analysis, optical materials, supramolecular therapeutics, drug delivery and supramolecular photosensitizers.
Guest Edited by Feihe Huang (Zhejiang University) and Xi Zhang (Tsinghua University), this themed collection publishes reviews on supra-amphiphiles prepared from small molecules/macrocycles/polymers based on non-covalent interactions.
More articles will be added as soon as they are published.
