This work describes recent developments in near-infrared (NIR) organic light-emitting diode (OLED) emitters. We discuss applications of NIR OLEDs as well as various groups of highly luminescent materials used in the OLED emissive layer.
In this article, we overview the latest advancements in organic near-infrared (NIR) materials, light-emitting devices and their applications. Moreover, we discuss the current limitations and future prospects for the NIR technology.
Based on the [Ir(dpbq)(iqbt)(pbi)] (2), ηMaxEQE = 1.824% (788 nm) and RCMax = 591 mW sr−1 m−2 V−1 for its color-purity NIR-OLED-2 were obtained.
An effective method to build high efficiency long wavelength emission NIR phosphors using butterfly-shaped dinuclear platinum complexes by cyanidation.
This review presents the recent progress of NIR TADF emitters along with their molecular design strategies and photophysical properties, as well as the electroluminescence performance data of the emitters and their OLEDs.
