A Frustum-Shaped, Triazine-Based Multicomponent Metallacage for Xylene Separation
Abstract
Owing to their similar chemical structures and boiling points, the energy-efficient separation of xylene isomers remains challenging. Herein, we report a frustum-shaped, triazine-based multicomponent metallacage which can separate para-xylene from its structural isomers with highly selectivity.
