Functionalised polyaniline-based porous organic polymers for catalytic conversion of CO2 into cyclic carbonates

Abstract

This study presents a sustainable CO2 capture and conversion strategy using functionalised polyaniline-based porous organic polymers. The catalyst, PTPA-COOH, enables efficient cyclic carbonate production, achieving high conversion and recyclability in the absence of solvents and co-catalysts. This route supports the transition to sustainable conversion of CO2 to green and economically attractive cyclic carbonates.
