Pillar[5]arene-based ionic single crystals formed by dual self-assemblies through host–guest and ionic interactions for iodine capture†
Abstract
This study reports the first preparation of an ionically crosslinked pillar[5]arene single-crystal material (DMIBP5-NA) featuring a unique dual self-assembly structure. The material demonstrates excellent adsorption performance toward iodine vapor with an equilibrium adsorption capacity reaching 3.28 g g−1.
