Ultrasonic assisted natural deep eutectic solvents as a green and efficient approach for extraction of hydroxytyrosol from olive leaves

MaPa, which was combined by strong interaction, was used in the extraction of HT from olive leaves in combination with ultrasound treatment. The MaPa extract had good biocompatibility and excellent antioxidant, bacteriostatic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Theoretical insights into NH3 absorption mechanisms with imidazolium-based protic ionic liquids

NH3 absorption in [BIm][Tf2N] is governed by hydrogen bonds between NH3 and the protic site on the cation and considerable effects of anions due to their interaction with the protic site.

Understanding the interaction mechanism of carbazole/anthracene with N,N-dimethylformamide: NMR study substantiated carbazole separation

In this work, the intermolecular interaction of carbazole/anthracene with DMF was investigated using various NMR techniques. More importantly, the intermolecular hydrogen bond between carbazole and DMF in the form of C[double bond, length as m-dash]O⋯H–N was proposed.
