A catalyst-free and metal-free C–H alkylation reaction of 1,2,4-triazin-3,5-diones using iodo-methylphthalate esters proceeds under mild conditions, enabling efficient and scalable synthesis in a microfluidic reactor.
Herein, we present an organophotoredox-catalyzed direct C–H alkylation/α-aminoalkylation of 1,2,4-triazine-3,5(2H,4H)-diones with amines in the presence of different additives. In addition, reaction mechanism were further revealed via DFT studies.
An efficient and convenient pathway is disclosed to synthesize 1,2,4-triazine-3,5(2H,4H)-diones and their derivatives via an atom- and step-economical cross-dehydrogenation coupling strategy, which employs inexpensive Mn(acac)3 and PhI(OAc)2.
Herein, metal-free phosphonation of N-heterocycles with diphenylphosphine oxides, promoted by 1,5-diazabicyclo[5,4,0]undec-5-ene utilizing air as a green oxidant in dimethyl carbonate as an eco-friendly solvent at room temperature, is presented.
This review highlights recent advances in visible-light-driven synthesis of isoquinoline-1,3-diones, emphasizing novel photocatalytic cyclizations of N-acryloylbenzamides with diverse radical precursors and their mechanistic features.
