We report a strong enhancement of the antibiotic action of binary antibiotic nanoparticles produced by coprecipitation of anionic and cationic antibiotics sterically stabilised by a surface-active polymer and a long-chain cationic surfactant.
Production and characterization of AMP (MSI-78 (4–20)) grafted PLGA-PEG NPs by optimization of PLGA-PEG/PLGA-PEG-Maleimide ratios. AMP-NPs are biocompatible and demonstrate improved killing kinetics against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa.
The present study involves the synthesis of a new series of α-aminophosphonate derivatives in good yields with a simple workup via the Kabachnik–Fields reaction using lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) as a catalyst to facilitate the reaction.
CMCS–Zn–CA, was prepared under microwave irradiation which exhibited a high radical scavenging rate, inhibited bacterial growth, and effectively extended the preservation time of milk.
Nitrofuranyl–pyrazolopyrimidine conjugates exhibiting potent in vitro and in vivo efficacy against Gram-positive bacterial strain S. aureus and its resistant variant methicillin-resistant S. aureus.
