Visible-light-promoted synthesis of α,α-difluoro-β-keto-thio(seleno)ethers from thio(seleno)sulfonates and difluoroenoxysilanes

Abstract

A visible light-promoted strategy for arylthiodifluoromethylation of thiosulfonates and difluoroenoxysilanes has been developed. This protocol is characterized by its high efficiency and mild reaction conditions, offering a supplementary strategy for synthesis of α,α-difluoro-β-ketosthioethers.
