Elucidating the performance of hexamethylene tetra-amine interlinked bimetallic NiCo-MOF for efficient electrochemical hydrogen and oxygen evolution

This study investigates the electrocatalytic water splitting capabilities of hexamethylene tetra-amine-linked NiCo-MOF, synthesized via hydrothermal approach. It reveals low overpotentials of 274 mV and 330 mV with Tafel slopes of 78 mV dec−1 and 86 mV dec−1 towards HER and OER respectively.

Hydrogenation of cyclohexene over single-atom Pt or Pd incorporated porous ceria nanoparticles under solvent-free conditions

Single-atom Pt or Pd incorporated porous CeO2 nanoparticles was prepared through one-step flash-combustion technique. The prepared catalysts exhibited high activity in the hydrogenation of cyclohexene under solvent-free conditions.

Simultaneously improving the pore structure and electron conductive network of the anode catalyst layer via SnO2 doping for proton exchange membrane water electrolysis

The enhanced catalyst layer decreases isolated Ir atoms, improving the electronic network. It also increases contact area, reducing interface resistance, and enhances porosity to increase the specific surface area for catalytic reactions.

Accurate assembly of thiophene-bridged titanium-oxo clusters with photocatalytic amine oxidation activity

We synthesized a crystalline dumbbell-shaped Ti10, which effectively enhances charge transfer. As a result, it exhibits remarkably high conversion activity and selectivity in the photocatalytic oxidative coupling reaction of benzylamine.

Enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity of octopod Ag3PO4 microcrystals with high index crystal faces

Integration of a Cu2O/ZnO heterojunction and Ag@SiO2 into a photoanode for enhanced solar water oxidation
