A liquid metal-embedded 3D interconnected-porous TPU/MXene composite with improved capacitive sensitivity and pressure detection range

We embed the LM in the internally interconnected porous structure of flexible foam, in which the LM endows the as-fabricated capacitive sensor with outstanding pressure sensitivity.

An electrochemically synthesized molecularly imprinted polymer for highly selective detection of breast cancer biomarker CA 15-3: a promising point-of-care biosensor

Here, a molecularly imprinted polymer film (MIP) was prepared on the surface of a disposable carbon screen-printed electrode (C-SPE) using (3-acrylamidopropyl)trimethylammonium chloride (AMPTMA) as a functional monomer and the cancer biomarker carbohydrate antigen 15-3 (CA 15-3) as a template.

Preparation and measurement of a sandwiched Sn atomic beam source for laser resonance ionization mass spectrometry

Different amounts of Sn sources were prepared by electrodeposition and tested via LRIMS. For the determination of ultra-trace nuclide, a sandwiched structure has been successfully developed for a more efficient and stable atomic beam source.

Investigation of the photocatalytic activity of magnetically recoverable g-C3N4/CoFe2O4/Bi2MoO6 particles for purifying tetracycline antibiotics: synthesis, characterization, ecotoxicity analysis, and plant toxicity test

To purify water polluted by tetracycline antibiotics, a new visible light-driven magnetically recoverable photocatalyst, g-C3N4/CoFe2O4/Bi2MoO6, was prepared in this study, and it effectively removed tetracycline antibiotics.

Synergistic effect of modified anhydrous magnesium carbonate and hexaphenoxycyclotriphosphazene on flame retardancy of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

Anhydrous magnesium carbonate (AMC) is successfully modified by KH570. KH570 can improve the interfacial interaction between AMC and EVA. AMC@KH570 and HPCTP generate a synergistic effect on the flame retardancy of EVA.

Humidity-tolerant and highly sensitive gas sensor for hydrogen sulfide based on WO3 nanocubes modified with CeO2

CeO2 nanoparticles modified WO3 nanocube materials were prepared. CeO2 nanoparticles endowed the WO3 with good hydrophobic properties and dissociative oxygen adsorption. The response and moisture resistance were synchronized.

Acetohydroxamic acid salts: mild, simple and effective degradation reagents to counter Novichok nerve agents

Fast and efficient Novichoks (A-agents) degradation is obtained by acetohydroxamic acid salts. These scavengers can thus be implemented as a medical countermeasure or device for dermal exposure to Novichoks.

Sodium halide solid state electrolyte of Na3YBr6 with low activation energy

Vibration of Br during the Na+ ion migration can significantly reduce ion migration activation energy. Therefore, compared to chlorides, bromide should be able to achieve lower migration activation energy and higher Na+ ion conduction.
