About this collection

The Royal Society of Chemistry is delighted to celebrate the signature of an updated MoU with Brazilian Chemical Society during the 41th SBQ Annual Meeting in 2018. Marking the occasion we organised a post-publication web themed issue free to access for a limited period (up to June 8).  The cross-journal collection highlights the excellence and breadth of Brazilian and UK research achievements across the chemical sciences and includes contributions from our Editorial and Advisory Boards.

This themed issue is a selection of UK and Brazilian authors publishing together, collected by Web-of-Scinece Core collection, having corresponding authors from at least one country. The time range defined is published papers on 2016, 2017 and the latest in 2018 (as for April 19).

The MoU and this themed collection also celebrates the UK-Brazil Year of Science and Innovation 2018-2019, promoted by the Science and Innovation Network Brazil.

The esteemed SBQ President Aldo Zarbim and RSC President Dominic Tildesley discuss the collection in the accompanying blog post here.
