In situ collection of volatile silver species in a new modular quartz tube atomizer for atomic absorption spectrometry

A novel modular design of the quartz tube atomizer (QTA) is employed for collection of volatile Ag species directly in the optical tube (i.e. in situ). Collection efficiency under optimized conditions is excellent, reaching nearly 100%.
