Surface treatment of magnetite nanoparticle thin films with potassium phosphate for calcium phosphate precipitation†
Abstract
The treatment of magnetite nanoparticle thin films with potassium phosphate, and their surface reactions with simulated body fluid were in situ monitored by the QCM-D technique. Particularly, tripotassium phosphate solution significantly led to effective film surface modification, which will be suitable for the precipitation of calcium phosphate.
