Sunlight-driven N-acetylation of anilines: a green chemistry approach

Abstract

In the present work, we have presented a sustainable pathway for the synthesis of industrially significant acetanilide moieties in the presence of sunlight using MgSO4 as a Lewis acid catalyst with utmost selectivity in less reaction time and excellent yields.
