Investigation of changes regularities in the valence state during the formation of supported palladium–bismuth nanoparticles using XPS

Abstract

Herein, we have revealed the regularities in Pd–Bi nanoparticle formation supported on alumina from an acetic acid solution of organometallic precursors. Additionally, it was found that the support surface is modified during the synthesis due to the interaction of precursors organic ligands with the support surface.
