Abstract
A highly porous and stable acid–base bifunctional metal–organic framework, MIL-101–NH2–SO3H, was prepared by direct solvothermal synthesis using two mixed (–NO2, –SO3H) terephthalate linkers followed by post-synthesis reduction to the NH2 form, which showed excellent performance for a one-pot tandem deacetalization–nitroaldol reaction.
