Abstract
Gold-poly(3,4-)ethylenedioxythiophene (Au-PEDOT) was synthesized using a novel interfacial synthetic route. Using Au-PEDOT, carbon paste electrodes were fabricated and mercury detection was attempted exploiting gold–mercury interaction chemistry.
