Abstract

Professor Sir Jack Baldwin, FRS, has recently stepped down as the Wayneflete Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Oxford. This article is intended to overview some aspects of Professor Baldwin's spectacular career, with an emphasis on his contributions towards the field of biomimetic synthesis.
