Abstract

A cyanoimide [NCN] transfer reagent has been developed and applied to the synthesis of the μ-NCN systems (μ²;η¹,η¹-NCN) {M[N(R)Ar]₃}₂ (Ar = C₆H₃Me₂-3,5; M = V or U, R = Bu^t; M = Mo, R = Prⁱ).
