Study of the chromatographic parameters for the supercritical fluid chromatography of benzodiazepines

Abstract

A supercritical fluid chromatography study on the effect of experimental parameters (modifier, flow rate of the mobile phase, pressure and temperature) on the determination of diazepam, oxazepam and chlordiazepoxide has been carried out, using a mixture of CO2 and methanol as mobile phase, and a packed column. Detection was carried out by ultraviolet spectrophotometry at 254 nm.
