Phospholipase D from Streptomyces catalyses the transfer of secondary alcohols

Abstract

The first preparatively useful transphosphatidylation reaction of secondary alcohols with natural phosphatidyl choline in an emulsion system, catalysed by phospholipase D of commercial origin is reported.
