Tetrathiafulvalene–FePS3 layered intercalation compound: a new type of organic–inorganic metal
Abstract
Layered FePS3 preintercalated with tetraethylammonium cations reacts with (TTF)3(BF4)2 in acetonitrile to yield Fe1 –xPS3(TTF)2x(x≈ 0.18). This intercalation compound has a metallic character, in contrast to pure FePS3 which is a semiconductor.
