X-Ray studies of the two macrocyclic tetra-amine complexes [Pt(H-2L′)]0. 5H2O (3b) and [PtLCl2]0. 2H2O (4a), where L = dioxocyclam and L′= 6-methyldioxocyclam, show the first platinum(II)-in and -out structures, respectively.
