Spectrophotometric determination of boron in water with prior distillation and hydrolysis of the methyl borate

Abstract

A procedure for the determination of boron in irrigation waters is proposed, involving the prior distillation and hydrolysis of methyl borate and subsequent spectrophotometric determination with azomethine-H. The selectivity is better than that of the direct analysis method.
